My role: concept, dance performance Duration: 1 week

Inspired by the flowing movements of Tai Chi, human geometries are translated into spatial geometries to create a new-style dance performance. Kinect motion-tracking technology is used to track joint movements and hand gestures. Motion tracking data are transferred into the visual presentation and projected on the canvas behind the dancer. This project aims to simulate a collaborative spatial engagement for a somaesthetic experience, as a homage to the nature of balance.
